I am a kind of person who needs to have dessert after every meal! It gets kind of hard to balance those calories in a day so I found out some easy and luscious low calorie dessert recipes. Give them a try and let me know how you like it?!

CHIA SEED PUDDING

You’ll need:
1/4 cup of oats
1 cup almond milk or skim milk
1/2 tbsp honey
1 cup of chia seeds
1 tbsp cocao powder

Procedure:
Mix cocoa powder with warm milk and add oats to the mixture. Mix it well and then add honey and mix again till it dissolves.
Add chia seeds and mix again until all the ingredients are completely mixed together.
Transfer the pudding in a mason jar.
Close the lid and refrigerate over night or for atleast 2 hours.

Garnish it with your choice of cut fruits and serve cold!

Chia Seed Pudding with Pomegranate seeds.

COFFEE CRISP SMOOTHIE

You’ll need:
1/2 cup of oats
1 cup almond milk or skim milk
1/2 tbsp honey or any other sweetener like dates, date paste or maple syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds (you can go crazy with chia seeds)
1/2 tbsp instant coffee powder (you can add more if you want a strong taste)

Procedure:
Put all the indredients in a blender and blend till you get proper consistency.

Pour the smoothie in a glass bottle or jar and refrigerate for 2 hours.

PEANUT BUTTERCUP SMOOTHIE

Peanut buttercup smoothie

You’ll need:
2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup almond milk or skim milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder

Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender till you get the required consistency.
Sprinkle some cocoa powder on and enjoy the lipsmacking smoothie!

You can try the same with different fruits and nut. Go wild with your imagination but make sure you use less or no sugar as we are trying to cut calories here! Have fun trying these out!!
